Presentations
There will be two formats for presentations: platform and roundtable. All paper presentations are 20 minutes, except in the rare cases where more than three papers are scheduled in a session.
- For the platform presentations, a computer and projector are available in every room.
- For the roundtable presentations, your paper is paired with one or two others and you and your audience will gather around a table in a room with other tables. Please bring any visuals you want to use as handouts. Projection will not be possible.
Paper deadlines and formats
Full papers should be sent by August 1 or shortly thereafter. The papers can be any length or format. They will be shared only with other participants in your session unless you submit them for the proceedings (see below). If you want to update your original two-page abstract, you should also do that by August 1. Send the papers or updated abstracts to atlantaconference@pubpolicy.gatech.edu. The IEEE paper can also be used as your full conference paper – just let us know when you send it.
Proceedings
IEEE has offered to publish the proceedings of the Atlanta Conference through their online proceedings source, IEEExplore. We extend an invitation to any paper accepted for the program to publish a version through this source. Doing this is optional. You may use this version as your “full paper” for the conference. Just let us know that when you send it.
If you want to have your paper appear in these official conference proceedings, you must do the following:
- Prepare a version of your paper in the format indicated in the sample manuscript. This version should be 3-5000 words long.
- Create your pdf or check it for compliance with IEEE specifications at the IEEE PDF eXpress, the conference ID is atlc09x. Click here for more detail on IEEE pdf standards.
- Send your paper along with your signed IEEE Copyright form to atlantaconference@pubpolicy.gatech.edu. Please scan the form and return it by email, or fax it to Pablo Catalan, ATLC09, at 404-385-0504.
